Jessica Barden (born Jessica Barden) is an English actor best known for playing Alyssa from 2017-2019 in The End of the F***ing World, a Channel 4 comedy drama series The End of the F***ing World. Her filmography includes notable roles in films like Hanna (2011) as well as The New Romantic (2018, Pink Skies Ahead 2020). Jessica Barden has been a television actress for more than 20 many years. Beginning in March 2007, she began playing the character of Kayleigh Morton on the ITV soap opera Coronation Street continuing until September 2008 at which point the Morton family departed Coronation Street. Barden was first introduced as an actress on film in Mrs Ratcliffe's Revolution. She played Pea on stage in Jerusalem which was a production of London's Royal Court Theatre. The play was then transferred to Apollo Theatre West End.
